About Connecticut
Connecticut consistently elects Democratic candidates, electing Hillary Clinton (D) by 14% in 2016, and Joe Biden (D) by 20% in 2020. In 2021, 67% of residents of Colorado identified as White/non-hispanic. 22.3% identified as Hispanic/Latino, 4.1% identified as Black, 3.4% identified as Asian, 0.2% as Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander, and 2.5% as multiracial. As for political leanings, 42% identified as Democratic/Democratic leaning, 41% identified as Republican/Republican leaning, and 17% identified as no leaning. There is a rather high number of Colorado Gubernatorial election candidates, notable candidates include Democratic incumbent Jared Polis and Republican candidate Heidi Ganahl.

Ned Lamont began his political career in 1987 after his graduation from Harvard with a degree in sociology. Lamont was also the founder of Lamont Digital systems, which he sold in 2015.
Bob Stefanowski is an independent consultant and the CEO of DFC Global, chief financial officer of UBS, and hold leadership positions in multiple other companies including General Electric.

Issues & controversies
Both campaigns am to mediate increasing tax rates in Connecticut. Stefanowski also intends to reverse the demilitarising of the Connecticut police, wich began after the imetious of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, under the leadership of Lamont. An appeal to the working class, Lamont intends to increase financial stability through his new pension plan and program to send grants to those directly affected by climate change.
